Weekend Wrap Up

We've had a good weekend! We did not do much of anything, but it was a good one. Sometimes I just love those weekends we sit around and do nothing as a family.

Friday, when I got home from work and picking up the June Bug, we 3 headed over to Waxahachie to Home Depot to look at new washer and dryers. Our plan was just to look and see what they offered and how much. Well, we purchased a set! As much as I do not like doing laundry, I'm pretty excited about it. We ended up going with the LG front end loader washer and dryer. Although red is my favorite color, we got the white set. I have to say, it's pretty darn nice. They will be delivered to our house next Saturday.

This cute onsie, was made by a friends mom. "Eat Sleep Shop" that pretty much sums it up.

Saturday we didn't do much of anything. I'm telling you, nothing. We made our normal weekend trip to Wal-Mart to get a few things and some steaks to cook out on the grill. We ran to Hibbits to get Brad a new pair of tennis shoes...some nice Nike Shokes (he hasn't had a new pair since we first started to date, 5 years ago. HA!) That night, Brad fired up the grill and cooked some very good steaks, while Kynlie played and I cut up potato's and squash. Dinner was YUM! We put Kynlie to bed and then rented a movie off of paper view...the Knowing...it was OK, I'm not much into Sci-Fi movies, but it was OK.

I couldn't help my self, I had to buy this cute Mickey Mouse hooded towel. This girl LOVES Mickey Mouse.

Sunday, again we didn't do much of anything. We got up (when Kynlie did) (it's so nice to sleep in sometimes), got our selves ready and went to town. We planned on eating at Chili's, but we didn't beat the church crowd, so we settled for Grand Buffet, a very good Chinese place, witch by the way is my all time favorite food, so I was pleased! Then we went back to Wal-Mart (I think they have half our salaries). We came home and put Kynlie down for a nap and daddy cleaned out the pool while I stayed in and did a little of nothing. Aren't Sundays made to be lazy?

What a sad face! I had to post this picture, because I just love the outfit she's wearing. Too bad she's not showing off that pretty smile.

Kynlie has started to say "Bye-Bye" and wave. It's the cutest thing ever. I'm going to try my best to get it on video and I need to take some pictures of her waving. She is saying so much lately, although I can not understand most of it, but she's talking up a storm. She's also standing up so good and will stand there and watch TV or by her toys. She's changing so much and growing up on us way too fast.

These are just a few pictures I got of her in her Sundays Best. Don't we all wish we could go around the house like this on a hot summer day?

This is Kynlie and her all time favorite Mickey Mouse!!

Here she is trying to climb up our step from her play room to the kitchen. She's made it over once.

We are going to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary on Tuesday. I think we are going to dinner in Ennis and my parents are coming over to keep the baby. I'll have a post later about our lives together through the past years together.
