"Show Us Your Life" Wedding Party/Flowers

Once again I'm participating in Kelly's "Show Us Your Life" Wedding Party/Flowers.

I LOVED my wedding party. They were all my very best friends I grew up with and my two sister-n-laws. My bridesmaids were, Kari, Lindsey, Dawn, Andie (snl), Jamie, Robyn (snl), & Alisha. I had one Jr. Bridesmaid, my niece Bailee and one flower girl, my best friend Lindsey's little girl Lainey. I did not have a maid of honor, just two matrons of honors. All my bridesmaids were married. Kari and Lindsey were my two matrons of honor.
Brad's groomsman were, Cory, Matt, Blake, Cody (my brother), Scott, Dusty (bnl), & BooBoo. All good high school buddies of Brads. His best men were Cory and Matt. His ring boy was his nephew Kage.
We also had four ushers. Cody, Dustin, Taylor, & Derek. All good friend to both of us.

My girls wore beautiful red strapless dresses. Very flattering!

The guys wore black tux's with white shirts and red vest to match my girls dresses.

My flowers were also so very pretty! My colors were red and yellow. I carried red Gerber Daisy's and my girls carried yellow Gerber Daisy's. The guys wore yellow Gerber Daisy's boutonnieres. Looked great together!

I could have not been more happy with the way my wedding turned out!!

Here are some snap shots of me and some of my bridesmaids. (the pictures above are part of my wedding book from the photographer, that's why they say PROOF across them)

Sneaky Peek

This past weekend my cousin had his wedding reception. He and his wife went off some where and got married on a beach and came back for the reception. We had to drive about an hour and a half to get there. They live in Southlake TX. They live next door to the Jonas Brother...no lie! Of course we didn't see them. Anyways, we had a great time. I got to see some of my family I haven't seen in a while. My grandmother and granddad finally got to meet Kynlie (they live in Greenville, so we don't see them as much as we need to). I managed to get some pictures, but wouldn't you know, before my grandparents showed up my camera went dead. I was upset about that. Here are the pictures I did get.

Show Us Your Life-Wedding Dress

Today I'mParticipating in Kelly's Korner "Show Us Your Life-Wedding Dress"

My dress was very simple, but very pretty. It was white, strapless, with a heart shape around the chest. The train was a normal length. I did a French bustle. That's were you go under instead of over. The dress had lots of beads and sparkles. I loved my dress. Now only if I can fit in it again!

I don't have pictures of just my dress, so here are some of my bridal pictures. You can get the idea.

2 Years Together

2 Years ago, I married my best friend. I could not be happier than I have ever been. We have a wonderful life together. He makes me laugh so much. Having someone to make you laugh everyday, even when you're in a down mood, is very important. I'm so thankful he's the man that he is. He is a wonderful husband who spoils me rotten (probably more than he needs to). He's an awesome daddy, and I mean that, he's awesome! I truly love everything about him, even when he's being a "man" HA. I would not trade him for the world. I love him because he gave me our beautiful daughter. I see so much of him in her. I hope she has his sense of humor when she grows up (although I'd like to think I'm pretty funny at times) . He is a very handsome man, of course or I would not have married him ;)! He's all about his family and I love that about him.

We first really met at a party in our home town. We had "known" of each other, but had really never hung out. A girl-friend of mine actually liked his best friend and so the friend always came around to see her so Brad tagged along. I liked him, but would never admit to it. I had "heard" that he liked me, but was like "really, cool", but deep down, I was excited. So finally I gave in and started letting it come public of my feelings HA. I guess you can say we officially started to date December 2004. We moved in together in July 2005, got engaged June 2006 and married July 2007 and then had our first most beautiful daughter together in September 2008 and are still living as happy as can be.

Here are pictures of our life together from start till now

This is one of our first pictures together as a couple. New Years 04/05

These next few pictures will show you what kind of personality my hubby has

This was New Years 07-08 (that's the night I find out I was pregnant...see the glow in my face??)

Weekend Wrap Up

We've had a good weekend! We did not do much of anything, but it was a good one. Sometimes I just love those weekends we sit around and do nothing as a family.

Friday, when I got home from work and picking up the June Bug, we 3 headed over to Waxahachie to Home Depot to look at new washer and dryers. Our plan was just to look and see what they offered and how much. Well, we purchased a set! As much as I do not like doing laundry, I'm pretty excited about it. We ended up going with the LG front end loader washer and dryer. Although red is my favorite color, we got the white set. I have to say, it's pretty darn nice. They will be delivered to our house next Saturday.

This cute onsie, was made by a friends mom. "Eat Sleep Shop" that pretty much sums it up.

Saturday we didn't do much of anything. I'm telling you, nothing. We made our normal weekend trip to Wal-Mart to get a few things and some steaks to cook out on the grill. We ran to Hibbits to get Brad a new pair of tennis shoes...some nice Nike Shokes (he hasn't had a new pair since we first started to date, 5 years ago. HA!) That night, Brad fired up the grill and cooked some very good steaks, while Kynlie played and I cut up potato's and squash. Dinner was YUM! We put Kynlie to bed and then rented a movie off of paper view...the Knowing...it was OK, I'm not much into Sci-Fi movies, but it was OK.

I couldn't help my self, I had to buy this cute Mickey Mouse hooded towel. This girl LOVES Mickey Mouse.

Sunday, again we didn't do much of anything. We got up (when Kynlie did) (it's so nice to sleep in sometimes), got our selves ready and went to town. We planned on eating at Chili's, but we didn't beat the church crowd, so we settled for Grand Buffet, a very good Chinese place, witch by the way is my all time favorite food, so I was pleased! Then we went back to Wal-Mart (I think they have half our salaries). We came home and put Kynlie down for a nap and daddy cleaned out the pool while I stayed in and did a little of nothing. Aren't Sundays made to be lazy?

What a sad face! I had to post this picture, because I just love the outfit she's wearing. Too bad she's not showing off that pretty smile.

Kynlie has started to say "Bye-Bye" and wave. It's the cutest thing ever. I'm going to try my best to get it on video and I need to take some pictures of her waving. She is saying so much lately, although I can not understand most of it, but she's talking up a storm. She's also standing up so good and will stand there and watch TV or by her toys. She's changing so much and growing up on us way too fast.

These are just a few pictures I got of her in her Sundays Best. Don't we all wish we could go around the house like this on a hot summer day?

This is Kynlie and her all time favorite Mickey Mouse!!

Here she is trying to climb up our step from her play room to the kitchen. She's made it over once.

We are going to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary on Tuesday. I think we are going to dinner in Ennis and my parents are coming over to keep the baby. I'll have a post later about our lives together through the past years together.

The Change. Any Advise?

We will be having a lot of changes coming up in the next few months. Once Kynlie turns one I hear there is a lot of adjustments to be done. The doctor told us at her 6 month check up that we needed to start getting her off the bottle and introducing her to a sippy cup. Well, she's not on a bottle that much, because I'm still breastfeeding her. She does very well with a sippy cup when there is water in it. I have not tried letting Heather put her milk in a sippy cup yet. I'm scared she won't take it, but I guess I need to try to find out.
Another problem is, at night, she does not take a bottle. She eats straight from momma. I plan on stopping breastfeeding when she turns one year. Her routine at night is dinner, bath, mommy's milk, and then she falls a sleep on me. How do I break her of this habit?? (to be honest...I'm not sure I'm ready to break the habit) (there is no better felling than cuddling up with you baby like that) I know I could pump and put it in a bottle and give it to her that way, but with her laying in my arms, she going to want "me". Also, I'm not producing as much as I use to and I've heard more milk comes out by the baby sucking than pumping. (sorry TMI?) I have a lot of thinking and figuring to do.
Also do I give her cows milk in place of the breast milk after she turns one? I'm a lost mommy! A new mommy!

Now to the pacci! This is our (mommies) best friend. I've been really good lately, I think. I try and only give it to her when she's really fussy, nap times, and at bed time. I've had a habit of popping that thing in her mouth as soon as she's done eating. Why? I don't know! She will only take one type of pacci and we have TONS of them laying around the house and every time I turn around she's found one and stuck it in her mouth. If she see's it she has to have it. If she doesn't see it, she's just fine. So I know if I try now, I can break her from a pacci. But, am I really ready to do this?? Why is it so hard for me?

Will she still eat baby food after one? I'm talking about the baby food in a jar? I know they have toddler food, but she'll still be too small for that, I'm sure.

I need help? What to do when they turn 1??? I LOVE being a new mommy. I wouldn't trade it for the world, but I NEED HELP!
If anyone out there reads my blog. I need mommy advise!

Videos

Today I'm going to post a few videos of Kynlie. One of her saying "Uh Uh OH" It's so cute! The other ones are of her walking with her baby doll stroller. She just started to do this, this past weekend. We haven't been able to slow her down ever since.

Here is the video of her saying "UH UH OH". I say "UH OH" and she repeats "UH UH OH" then gets really excited when she sees her daddy in the kitchen. It's a very quick video.

This one is her walking with her baby doll stroller. I'm not sure why it's so dark, but you can see it good enough.

And this one, is just a short one of her walking. She would have gone further, but daddy's leg got in the way and she gave up. This one is also dark :(

Here is a very cute picture that Heather sent me today of Grace and Kynlie loving on each other. It's so sweet!
