Thanksgiving at Memaw & Pappy's

This past Sunday we had Thanksgiving at my mom and daddy's house. There was lots of good food...turkey, ham (my favorite) dressing, green-bean casserole, hominy casserole (my 2nd favorite), broccoli rice and cheese, potato's, & rolls. For dessert, we had a pumpkin pie and my sticky butter pumpkin cake. It was all to die for!

I like to compare this year to last year with pictures of Kynlie. I love to see how she's changed. So here are pictures of last year and this year. (sorry the pictures of this year are so bad. I have no idea why they came out bad. We have a great camera, it must have been set on a wrong setting)

My favorite picture from last year 2008

My favorite picture from this year 2009. She had pulled her bow off and her band across her face and was running up and down the hallway with it over her eyes. It was very funny!

and I love this picture too...she had to have her milk and juice at the same time!

She's changed so much from last year. She LOVED all the food. She ate like a champ!
I'm so Thankful to have her in my life! I thank God for letting me be her mom. What a privilege!!

Not Me Monday

It's a "Not Me Monday" (weekend wrap-up)

I DID NOT wash a dirty pee pee diaper in the washer with Kynlie's clothes and I had to clean out the washer with a vacuum cleaner and shake out all the crystal jelly pieces out of Kynlie's clothes outside so I could re-wash them. No I DID NOT!

Kynlie DID NOT fall and bust her mouth and bleed everywhere Saturday night at my friends house. I DID NOT freak out and panic, that I was going to have to take her to the ER for the first time. And I DID NOT get blood all over my new sweater dress.

I DID NOT get stuck in traffic coming home from work on Friday and I DID NOT get stuck at a red light and I DID NOT have my picture taken by a red light camera for running it.

But I guess all in all, my weekend wasn't that bad. Aggies won, Cowboy won (barely) and we had my first Thanksgiving dinner for this year at my parents. It's a short week at work and we have our Thanksgiving luncheon today and it's going to be great!

Czech Stop

This morning Kynlie had her first taste of some good Czech food.

Kolaches!!!

She had Creme' Cheese (my favorite) and Blueberry Creme' Cheese. Brad went through West, TX (not West, like North, South, East, West but the town called West) on his way home from doing a job and stopped at the Czech Stop and picked up some YUMMY Kolache's.
Look at that beautiful messy face. She really enjoyed her breakfast this morning!

Now, all we needed was some Polka music going in the background and we would have been set!
Needless to say, someone got a bath right after breakfast. She had blueberries all over her. I'm sure she'd say it was all worth it!

Now for a little Christmas Decorations Preview
I love Christmas time and I love decorating my house for Christmas. For the past 4 years, I've decorated our tree like this

Pretty country, huh? Well, it's been nice, but it's time for a change. Wal-Mart has some of the cutest decorations out right now. So last night I bought some. I can't wait to get the tree down and start decorating. I usually don't start decorating until the day after Thanksgiving, but I'm so excited about my new stuff, I may start early this year.

I love these colors together. It matches my house perfect!

I got these leafs in Red and Brown also. Aren't they cute?!

I can't wait to post pictures when I'm done! Stay tuned!

You Might Be A Red Neck If........

you let your one year old play outside in her diaper and crocs for the whole neighborhood to see.

Sunday Kynlie had to go outside, so we through on her crocs and went out. she pushed her stroller up and down the driveway, danced with her baby doll, and played in the leafs.

(that's not a full diaper. She just doesn't have a butt to fill it out HA)

I love this face!!

You can't really tell in the picture, but she was dancing to the radio in the garage. (although, it looks as if she's strangling her HA)

"Look Mommy, a leaf"

"Lets see how it tastes" (the picture is blurry b/c I took off after her to stop her)

On Saturday, mom and I drove all the way to Crowley, about an hour away, to go to a craft fair. I'm glad we did. We had a great time and I got a few things.

I got this cute dress for Kynlie to wear, when we take her to have her pictures made with Santa. I got it from SheSheBows. Go take a look. Thanks Ashley!

I found this cute little top at another booth. How cute will this be with a black top under it and some pants? I can't wait to let her wear it.

Kynlie has learned if she folds her ears down and covers them, that she can hear her self make noise. It's so cute. That's all she did in the bath last night.

We are having Thanksgiving at my parents house this Sunday. Now I have to decide what sweets I'm going to make and bring!? I have a few ideas.

Be Strong In The Lord

I've been hearing this song a lot lately and I just love it. It's called "The Words I Would Say" by Sidewalk Prophets. The Chorus of the song is the most important part of the song. I love what it says. I can't wait to tell Kynlie these words one day. We should all live by these words

Be strong in the Lord and
Never give up hope
You're going to do great things
I already know
God's got His hand on you so
Don't live life in fear
Forgive and forget
But don't forget why you're here
Take your time and pray
Thank God for each day
His love will find a way

Go to their website or u-tube and listen to it. It's really great!

We've had a pretty laid back week. This weekend we have a Woman's Dinner at our church. It's were the guy serve the woman. I've been once before and it's fun. My husband is actually going to go this time! I'm excited!

This little Diva has started to throw fits. What am I going to do?? She's the sweetest little girl, but she's testing Brad and I. Oh, but do I love her more than words can even express. I would rather have a fit thrower than not have her at all!

This is her OH, AW, UH, face. When she see's something she likes or hear something. Like a dog. She LOVES puppies, but I will not let her have one. I'm not to much into dogs in the house......or out side for that matter. (mom if you're reading this, I know you have two of my dogs "I had to have" years ago....sorry. Tell Fred and Maggie hi for me HA)

You know when you're tired when you.........

Brad was feeding her lunch and got up to get something and when he came back this is what he saw. Sweet girl was just too tired to eat.

She LOVE riding her pony's. She's got 3 toy pony's! So she's getting the hang of it.

Now, one thing I know I'm doing right with raising Kynlie is that she knows good music. This is her dancing to George Strait singing Twang on the CMA's the other night. (sorry it's dark)

This video is too cute! Brad was giving her a bath the other night. A bubble bath! He would take her balls and put them down in the water and let go and they would fly up and Kynlie thought it was the funnies thing ever. Then she would do it her self and she thought it was even funnier. That laugh melts my heart!

14 Months

Today Kynlie is 14 months old. My how time just flies past us. She is change so much lately. She's really getting a personality. Sometimes a funny one and sometimes a bratty one. She knows what no means, and she will test Brad and I. Sometime I think my 1 year old is going through her terrible two's, but other day's she's just as sweet as candy! She's been talking so much more lately. I just could listen to her all day long. That sweet voice is music to my ears.

What can Kynlie say:
"momma"

"daee" (daddy)

"Oh, wha is dat"

"ba" (ball)

"no" (she's said it once) (I didn't like that too much, but it made me laugh)

"biee" (bite)

"boo"

"elo" (pawpaw says it's Hello)

"pawpaw" (I haven't heard her say it, but her pawpaw swears she did)

"kak kak" (quack quack)

"bye bye"

"uppy" (puppy or pup)

"uh oh"

and lots of rambling on that I can't understand.

She runs everywhere she goes and it's too cute. She runs with her hand straight out behind her back and her head kind of down. I'll have to get in on video soon.
She's learned how to ride her horse now and she loves it. She gets mad when the music goes off and sometimes she can't figure out how to push it's ear to start it over. (video below)
She also love to dance. I caught a little bit on video of her dancing to something on Dr. Oz. It's short, but you can see it a little. I'll work on getting a better video. (video below)

I tell ya, this girl lights up my life. Sometimes I think I could explode with joy, because I love her so much. Her smile and laugh is the best thing I could ask for. I cherish every waking moment I'm around her.

Halloween (Part 1)

Why part 1? Well, somehow my camera is messed up or something is wrong with the computer and I can not get my pictures on the computer from my camera, so I'm going to go to the store and see if I can put them on a CD, like I used to do in the past.

Anyways! We celebrated our nieces 4th birthday on Halloween. She had a costume party for all the little kids. The weather was GREAT! Kynlie went as a Lady Bug and looked as cute as always. She ran around the drive way the whole time and wouldn't eat a bite of food...well except the chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream her Pawpaw thought she needed...and she loved it! (I have a cute picture, but it's on my camera UGH). When the sun went down all the big kids and my sister-n-law went trick or treating in the neighborhood. Brad, Kynlie, Brad's parents, our nephew and our brother-n-law all stayed behind to hand out candy. We all had a good time.

Since I don't have any Halloween Day pictures, here is a comparison of last year and this year from the fall carnival. Kynlie 8 weeks old at Halloween last year and she was a kitty cat. I sure do miss that little kitty! But I love my Lady Bug!
