Testing the "Tot Wheels" and more...

Kynlie loves her Tot Wheels!

Kynlie's aunt Robyn has let her borrow Karlye's Tot Wheels and she loves it! We put her in it for the first time on Sunday while we cooked out on the grill. She didn't know what to do at first, so she just sat there, but once she got going and figuring out that her feet would get her to different places if she moved them, then she was on a roll!

If you look close you can see what hair Kynlie does have, is blowing in the wind. Don't worry baby, one day you'll get lots of hair!

This past Saturday, we went to Lindsey and Jeff's house just to hang out and have some dinner. Kynlie loves it over there, Lindsey's kids keep her entertained. I got some good pictures of her trying to crawl...she's just about got it!

The other day after work, the weather was so nice, so Brad, Kynlie and myself decided to just go outside and enjoy it. We didn't do much but stand outside, but it was nice just to be out there. I took my camera out there with me, to get some good pictures and Brad ended up taking them, so I ended up in all of them (sorry) :)

I feel so blessed the God gave Brad and I such a happy baby, as you can tell by all the above pictures. She's just so excited most of the time (specially if momma's holding her) She has finally tried PEA'S and she LOVED them, but I haven't found anything she hasn't really liked....maybe banana's, but well try them some more and maybe she'll grow a taste for them.
Easter is coming around the corner so that means we need to get busy taking some Easter pictures. We already have her dress and basket. So cute!
Well have a great rest of the week...Until next time....

Worried Mommy

I'm such a worried mommy. Our sweet girl is sick right now. She's been running a high fever (or so I think it's high)100.0 to 102.0 degrees! She has a rough sounding cough, that sounds like it hurts. She's never sick, just the normal runny nose here and there, but never high fever. I'm one of those moms that is still breastfeeding so she'll "never get sick", who cleans her paci off frequently, who doesn't like "strange" people touching or holding her, I do this thinking it will keep her well. But I know she will get sick a number of times, it's just a mommy thing. Everyone keeps telling "she'll be fine", and I'm sure they are all right, but I'm still going to take her in and have her checked out.

Fly By Weekend

Man how the weekends just fly by us. Sometimes I don't feel I ever get one. Even though it flew by, it was still a good one.

Friday, Brad and I enjoyed a great night with one of my very best friends Lindsey and her husband Jeff at Chili's. We left Kynlie with a friend that I work with, who has been dieing to see and keep her. She had a blast at Vickie's house...I'm sure it will not be the last time she goes over there and visits. (See pictures below)

Saturday, Andie, Kynlie, and I went SHOPPING!! Second favorite thing to do. (First is playing with Kynlie). We got up and headed to the Parks Mall in Arlington and shopped till we dropped. I got some really cute outfits for Kynlie. That night we went to dinner at Pappadeaux's for Robyn's b-day with the whole Kubin/Hendrix family...the "FOOD" was great! Sweet potato pecan pie...come on!! YUM YUM!

Sunday, Bradley fixed his famous chili and memaw and pappy came over to visit and have dinner. Kynlie had so much fun playing with them.

What happened to the 68 degree weather we were suppose to have Sunday??? I wanted to take Kyns on a stroll. At least this week will be nice and maybe we can get the stroller out and hit the sidewalk after work.

She's been eating green beans lately and LOVES them. Last night she had squash, I think she liked that as well. So far I haven't found a food she really does not like. That's great, I sure hope I don't have a picky eater.

Our baby is trying so hard to crawl...I don't know what's stopping her from going, but she's almost there!

Picture Perfect

Finally, I have pictures. Real pictures from my camera and not my cell phone (although, I love receiving them from Heather through out the day).

These pictures are from last Sunday, when we celebrated my moms birthday. I dressed her all up in a cute yellow dress and a BIG yellow flower bow. I couldn't resist, it's just too cute! She has them in all colors! Some of the other pictures are just through out the week. Enjoy!

3 1/2 hours

Looks like she's winking at me!!

See that precious baby above? Well, I only get 3 1/2 AWAKE hours with her. That's just not long enough. With my job being in Dallas and my home in Ennis, I spend more time at work or in the car. Our normal daily routine is: I wake up at 5:30 a.m. to get ready, I wake her up at 6:00 a.m. to feed and get her ready, we are at Heathers by 7:00 a.m. I go to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., don't pick her up till 6:00 p.m., go home, get dinner ready, feed (both of us), bathe (both of us), and lay her down between 8:30 & 9:00 p.m. then its stars all over again the next morning. Heather gets exactly 11 hours a day with her. As much as I love Heather and thank God for her and wouldn't have anyone else keep her...it's just not fair. I wish there was some way I could be home with her, but with times being tough, it's just not possible at the moment. Maybe one day! This is why I look forward to my weekend so much.

Big Smile

Here is a picture Heather just sent me of my smiley baby!

Also the other day, Heather had a chance to take her on a walk and she sent me these pictures. She looks half a sleep in one.

Sunny Sunday!

Sunday was a great day, in fact the whole weekend turned out pretty good! I'm not one to really like Sundays because I know the work week is about to start and I have to leave my sweet girl for 11 hours a day, so I usually just like to sit around and relax with Brad and Kynlie on Sundays. Yesterday we celebrated my moms b-day at our house and cooked hamburgers on the grill. The weather was WONDERFUL! I was able to get Kynlie in her small stroller and we walked up and down the side walk forever. She loved it! We pulled out her outside play mat and she sat and played for so long. I got lots of great pictures (unfortunately I don't have them to post today). We sat out side in the driveway and garage and we all just visited and the guys played darts. It was so good to have the family over and enjoy the wonderful weather.

Friday, I left Kynlie at home with Brad so I could enjoy a dinner with Andie and two friends. We had a great time, sitting outside and having good Mexican food. I was a little worried about leaving Kynlie and Brad home alone, because Kynlie gets so fussy when I'm not holding her BUT she did wonderful and they had a great time together. I came home to a sleeping baby...in her bed, and was able to relax with my hubby! Saturday, we went to Corsicana to visit some friend for a b-day and cooked out. We had a great time and Kynlie really enjoyed all the attention she got, so much she decided to stay up till midnight!!! Sunday just topped the weekend off!! Now it's time for cold weather on it's way, I'm not too thrilled about it. But hopefully this will be it for a long time!

Great picture will be coming soon!

1/2 A Year Old

Yes that's right, our Kynlie June Bug is 6 months, 1/2 a year old today! It's hard to believe it's been 6 months since God gave us the most precious gift two people could ever get. It's a bitter sweet feeling. I love the fact she's growing and learning new things everyday and I love watching her develop new skills, but at the same time I miss the baby/newborn feel (if that makes any since).

She is now eating more foods, she's had applesauce, bananas, peaches, and sweet potato's, next we are going to try some pears, green beans, squash, and maybe some peas and carrots. I think she's likes everything so far. I think peaches are her favorite. I personally did not care for the smell of the bananas.

She is really trying to crawl. It's the cutest thing watching her on her hands and knees rocking back and forth, with her hinny in the air. I know soon she'll take off and I wont be able to catch her. She scoots backwards all the time and will turn in circles.

She is still saying DA DA DA DA all the time. Brad loves it! She's also blowing spit bubble. That's pretty cute and messy.

SHE IS STILL SLEEPING IN HER BED AND SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT....WOO HOO!!!!! (I hope I didn't just jinks myself)

She is still very very attached to me. Heather and I think she may have separation anxiety. We have read that it's common at this age. I'm still breastfeeding her, so that may play a big part. I cannot be in the same room as her and let someone else hold her, with out her crying. I cannot put her down to play and walk away with out her crying. Some may say that she's spoiled and that may be the case, but SPOILED=LOVED

Bath time is still so much fun. She can sit in there forever and splash around and talk up a storm, especially saying DA DA DA DA over and over. She loves the water. She does not like getting out and putting on her PJ's and lotion, she'll kick her legs and scream. I guess the baby likes to be naked.

She will not have her 6 month check up and shots until she is 7 months, because her doctor is so busy and booked he can't see her till April, she'll be just fine. I can't wait to see what she weighs and how much she's grown. Her pants are just now starting to get short on her.

I'm excited the time is changing this weekend. Not because we are losing an hour but because it will stay lighter outside longer and when we get home at night we can get in the stroller and go around the neighborhood or get out the outside play mat and just enjoy the weather (good weather we are hoping for). Also with the time changing that means Spring is on it's way, and then SUMMER!

I do have to say it's been the best 6 months of my life. I can't wait for the other six months and many many years to come with our sweet baby girl. She's amazing and we love her more than I could ever explain!

Praying While Pumping

I'm still breast feeding Kynlie, so I have to take short breaks at work to pump. There isn't much to do back there in the library, sitting all alone. So I talk to God most of the time. Some days I just thank Him for everything I have, some days I ask Him to please forgive me for my sins, sometimes I just de-stress. Today I sat back there and cried to him. I recently came across a blog with a little girl who had a heart condition and who had to have a heart transplant at only 11 months old. Sadly the family had to take her off her life support because there was nothing more they could do and she died yesterday. I prayed that He would be with that family as they go through something no parent should have to ever go through. I pray they could find some kind of comfort knowing she's in a better place and is no longer hurting. I prayed that they could lean on each other and their other children for a bit of piece. During all this crying and praying, I was also thanking God for our sweet, healthy, lovable, cheerful, beautiful daughter He gave us. I thank Him all the time for blessing Brad and I. I truly could not and don't even want to think how we could live with out her. My heart ache for the family that lost their daughter. I will continue to pray for them and continue to thank God everyday for our special angle. If you would like to read about this family go here http://www.thegledhillfamily.blogspot.com/

Grocery Shopping

Brad, Kynlie and I went grocery shopping on Sunday like we usually do. Kynlie is now big enough to sit in the cart and not her car seat. She's so sweet sitting there watching all the people go by. She's so good too, doesn't fuss a bit! We had been there for a while and looked over at her and she was looking down...the poor baby was dozing off. So Brad put her blanket down as a pillow and she laid her sweet head down and slept the rest of the shopping trip. She's an angle!

Our weekend was good! Friday night we stayed in and ordered Mexican food to go from Don Jose's and rented the Express (great movie). Little missy wouldn't go to sleep until after 10:00 p.m. Saturday we enjoyed a good lunch with Nana (Brad's mom) at Vero's pizza and then Andie, Bailee, Kynlie, and I went shopping! That night Brad's parents treated us to dinner at Johnny Carrino's, which was great! Kynlie was great at dinner and slept through the beginning and then played with her toys the rest. On Sunday we had a birthday party to go to. It was cold and windy but it turned out just fine. Kynlie enjoyed her self so much and was great! (pictures coming soon)
That was our weekend and we can't wait for the next one...Memaw's birthday is Friday!
