Dancing With The Stars

I love DWTS. I love watching all the cool dances and wish I could move like that, but most of all I love all the costumes! We were watching it on Monday night (before the Cowboy game) and I caught a little bit of Kynlie's moves on tape. She started this new things now, when she hears music, she twirls around and around. Also she has this funny leaning thing she does...HA! It's the cutest thing I've ever seen. She didn't do it very long. You'll see, she had to take a cookie and milk break. That's me laughing in the background and her Papa talking.

This video was takin a few days ago. She was saying "Up" every time daddy would say it.

She never seems to amaze me. She's growing so fast and doing so much new things lately. I feel bad that I've been a blog slacker. That's not like me. I can't believe I don't have any pictures to post. I promise I'll get better. We have a lot of good things coming up: Halloween, carnival, festival, wedding, etc. So I should get some good pictures.

12 Months

Kynlie had her 12 months check up last Friday. Poor baby had to get a lot of shots too. Let me tell ya, she was not a happy camper. They also gave her a flu shot. Just the Tuesday before, I had to take her in because she was so sick and they gave her two shots of antibiotics. So just in the the last week she's had 7 shots! Poor baby!
Anyways, other than all the shots the appointment went great. She was a very good girl. She is now weighing 19lbs and is 28.5 inches long. I think she's going to be short like her momma. He said she is very healthy and said she is right at the 50% mark. She has 6 teeth, 4 on the bottom and 2 on the top. I think she's getting some back teeth in too. She's loves to bite. Somehow, I'm going to have to teach her not to do that and that it hurts mommy really bad!
We have started feeding her more than just baby food. She LOVES Nilla Wafers. Who doesn't? I am still breast feeding her in the morning and at night. Through out the day she has whole milk and seems to be doing great adjusting to something new. We have also started feeding her the Gerber meals and she LOVES them. It takes her a little longer to eat but she will get it done.
She is wearing size 6-9 months some 3-6 month skirts and shorts (she has a tiny waist) and some 12 months, depending on what it is.
She really is starting to talk. She babels on and on sometimes. Funny story, last night after we got home she said Dada, so I said Momma, she said Dada, I said Momma, it went on and on forever. It was like we were in competition with each other. I was determined for her to say momma (which she can) but she wanted to say Dada. I love moments like that, that make me laugh.
She is the light of my life. I can not imagine my life without her. I can't remember what Brad and I did 12 months ago without her. Seriously....it most have been really boring.......just kidding, mine and Brad's time alone is great! (but now it's WONDERFUL)

I don't have any current pictures to post (just the ones from the post below) so I'll leave you with some funny ones from when she was a few weeks old.

And how about this one... 1 day old, coming home from the hospital. Now her legs hang over the car seat

Just A Lot Of Thing

I have a lot I'm going to post about today. My birthday, Brad Paisley, Go Cowboys, & Rain Boots.

Today is my birthday, I'm 28. Two more years and I'll be 30. For some reason, I'm really sad. I LOVE my life, but I'm getting so old...HA!!
This was Kynlie and I last year on my birthday. She was 1 week old

This is Kynlie and I today. She is 12 months and 1 week old

Last night, Brad and I went to the Brad Paisley concert with Derek's Bentley. We had a GREAT time. I love Brad Paisley!! They both put on a wonderful show. It rain the whole time we were there, but think God we have covered seats. We did get wet walking to the truck after the concert, but it was so worth is. Thanks mom and dad for a great birthday gift!

Today is Sunday, so that means Cowboys play! We are big Dallas Cowboy fans in our house. In fact, we are big football fans in our house. So of course we had to get Kynlie some Cowboy gear. We've bought her 3 onsies, and a t-shirt. This one is one of my favorites...it has a cheerleader on it.

Ok, are these just not the cutest rain boots you've ever seen?? Heather bought them for Kynlie. What perfect timing...it has not stopped raining all weekend.

Well, I'm going to go enjoy the rest of my birthday with my hubby and sweet girl. Watch a little Cowboys and eat some sweets.

By the look on my face, you would think I like the gift aunt Robyn got Kynlie. A Pan Dora charm bracelet

She's saying "yay, thanks for all the fun toys and clothes" or she could be saying "yay, mommy is about to let me have some cake for the first time....ever!"
