Easter 2013

I'm having to post from my phone. My computer is acting up. I can get on certain web sites and it's fine, but every time I try to send an email or blog it's super slow and hardly ever uploads a picture. Although, I was able to upload my pictures to Facebook with no problem. So that's how I got my camera pictures on my phone to post on my blog. Phew...with all that said, here's Easter.

We had a good Easter this yr. we did our usual. Church, uncle Bobby's & aunt Irene's, had lunch, egg hunt, played outside, then went to my parents. The weather was beautiful, food was great, & company was even better.

Before Church (I bought her dress about a month before Easter and it fit perfect. Easter day, not so much. She grew in a month...a lot. But she wore it anyways)

With his one and only Pawpaw

Handsome boy

Checking out the tank. There were chemicals in it so it was extra bright. She kept saying it was pretty.

The best n laws ever.

Playing in the sandbox, in church clothes. Oh well, we have a washing machine :)

He loves his Pawpaw

Babies got to hunt eggs before the big kids. This was Kooper's second Easter and he actually did pretty good. He would pick eggs up and place them in his basket, then dump them out...then he was done :)

Trying to take a picture with her was not easy. She just wanted to play. Don't blame her

My handsome guys

Kynlie and Bradley's grandma. This was the first yr she actually warmed up to her and let me take their picture.

Then it was time for the big kids hunt.

Attempt at a family picture.

The Kubin's
I married into a wonderful family.

Kooper loved sitting on this "vroom vroom" he calls it.

Then we went to my parents so the kids could get their Easter baskets and we could visit.

Love my sister n law and niece so much!!!

Next up, Easter post with cell pictures.

Happy 18th Birthday Bailee

Today my niece turns 18. I can not believe it. I was in jr high when she was born. Really does not seem that long ago.

She has always been such a beautiful girl!!

She means so much to me! I can remember always calling her mom as soon as I got done with school to see if I could pick her up from school or nans to spend the afternoon with her. I loved spoiling her...still do, but she's more expensive now lol!!

(I have a lot more pictures of Bailee but they are all on my computer)

Happy Birthday sweet Bailee! I love you so much!

15 Random facts you may not know

I read today on a blog I love to read (Kelly's korner) she did a post on 9 things we might not know about her. I thought that would be fun to do as well. She tried doing 10 but only thought of 9. I tried doing 10 and ended up with 15.

So here you go. 15 random, boring, weird & crazy facts about me you may not know... Hold on to your seats, it's about to get interesting (insert sarcasm lol)

1. I love cheerleading. I wish I was still a cheer leader (yes at 31 yrs old) or still taught my own squad. :))

2. I'm weirdly obsessed with Steven Tyler and his band Aerosmith! Yeah, I know...go ahead and judge me lol. I've only been to one of their concerts. Sad!

3. I went to a jr college way too long, to not have much to show for it. I started out going for education then changed for occupational therapy. Didn't complete either. Maybe one day?!

4. I will still sit down and watch reruns of I Love Lucy, Full House, & Friends (really, who doesn't still watch friends??)

4. I bite my tongue in my sleep. All the time. Can't help it. It hurts like crazy too lol!

7. I have a crazy, weird memory. I can remember birthdays, wedding anniversaries, special occasion, etc... of dates of mine or my friends and families...from yrs ago.

8. I've only traveled out of Texas to Mexico & to Arkansas. I want to go to New York, Cali, & any place with sun, sand, & water!

11. My house is decorated with lots (probably too much) reds & roasters.

12. I love studying anything about presidents. I enjoy history and wish I'd paid more attention in high school and college.

13. I dislike basketball so much!! I dread march madness month, because that's all that's on. I need my baseball!

Update on life (longest post)

I've been a bad blogger lately. No good excuse other than life. We have been busy with all kinds of things.

We are on our way to spend the weekend with my best friend Dawn and her family.

So what better way to spend my time in the truck, but to blog! (I may even knock out more than one post...we will see)

So here's a random update of everything that's been going on.

Kooper turned 17 month and then 18 months since the last time I've blogged. We had his 1 & 1/2 yr well child check up last week Dr. P said he's perfect! 25 lbs & I don't remember how tall :( (I have it wrote at home)

The kids love helping their nana and pawpaw feed the animals in the barn. We spend lots of time over there.

We have had a few sweet moments with the kiddos. They really do love each other, although we are entering the fighting, picking on each other stage.

Bradley and I have had a few nights out together thanks to our wonderful parents who love keeping our babies. I love when we get alone time.

Daddy & Kooper have spent some time together.

Sister & I have had a few moments together too!

I got to enjoy a night out with my girls to celebrate my friend heathers birthday. We had so much fun!

Kynlie had a friend over for the whole day last week. They had so much fun wearing every single dress up dress Kynlie owns. Love sweet little girls!

My favorite faces

Kynlie had a great valentines party at school and reserved lots of goodies, as well as giving her friends some too.

I got to enjoy a rare day out shopping with my sister n law and niece.

Not everyday is sunshine around here. We defiantly have our share of fussy, momma hold my all day, give me, kinda days. But I remind myself they are only little for a very short time and I'll miss these days and most of all I remind myself how blessed I am to have them!

This is what my house looks like most everyday.

And about 30 minutes before daddy gets home I run around like crazy and make it look like this...lol

How sweet are my cowboy & cowgirl??!

One day while the kids were with daddy I enjoyed a little me time

Kooper is still very attached to his pawpaw! Everyday when we drive past their house kooper looks out the window and says Pawpaw real loud while looking for him. Sometime he will cry if he sees him and we don't stop.

He's still attached to his momma too!

And so is this girl!

***I want to note some things the kids are doing/saying (for my memory)

Kooper: he's talking so much these days.
Momma, dada, ball, dog, moo, where's the moo, where did it go (as he throws his hands up in the air), pawpaw, nana, no, coocoo (cookie) what that, thank you (although it's hard to understand). He loves to dance! He's really into bubble guppys, Mickey mouse, & jake & the never land pirates. He's sleeping all night (amen!!!) he may have a earlier morning than I like but that's ok. He still does not eat good. He's a chicken nugget eater and animal cookies. He still nurses...a lot! We are working really hard at weaning.

Kynlie: what a big girl she's becoming. we still have our behavioral problems at home, but at school, church, & grandparents she is so good and so sweet. She's very loving and tells me and Kooper all day she loves us and gives us random kisses through out the day. I absolutely love it! She adores my mom and dad, her memaw and pappy. She asks daily if she can go over there or what they are doing. She loves spending time with brads mom, her nana as well. She is really into riding Eddie the horse at my n laws. She's actually very good for her age. (I have to take an anxiety pill every time she goes lol). She's very smart and has a great memory (I hope that sticks with her through school)

There you have it. Our life lately. It's not perfect but it's ours life and I love it! I truly am happier than I have ever been!!

With Love
Christie
