Saturday night did not come to a great ending. Let me start at the beginning...
Mom, Kynlie, and I had such a great day shopping together Saturday. We started out at Hobby Lobby, where I found TONS of things for my house, some I purchased, some I just had to keep dreaming for. Then we headed to Kohl's so I could spend my gift cards that were burning a hole in my wallet. There I found some really cute dresses and tops, that I can't wait to wear.
We headed home, mom left, and then it was just me, Brad and Kyn. We played out side for a long time, until it was time for supper. We came in, ate, and then all took baths.
I'm not quit sure of the time, but some time after the baths, Kynlie was sitting on our bed. I noticed she had a hanger. One that came from Kohl's that day. Plastic with the silver metal hanger part, that turns in circles. Know what I'm talking about?
Anyways, I told her "no, Kyn, put it down, you don't need that" Did I go over and take it from her? NO! I'm a bad mom. (not really). I'm going to guess about 5 minutes, maybe less, I see it in her mouth (the silver metal part), it looks like she's chocking on it, so I run over there, she's starting to cry and squirm around, wouldn't let me look. It wouldn't come out right at first, so I pulled on it. I could hear it scratch the roof of her mouth.
I was sick!
I ran her into the bathroom, screaming "OH MY GOD...BRADLEY"
Much to our surprise.....there was NO blood! But Kynlie was screaming, crying, and shaking. I was so upset too. At my self for not taking it away the first time and for yanking it out so fast.
About 2o minutes of calming her down, she finally relaxed. She then proceeded to get up and play for a little bit. She drank some milk and ate a small bite of a cookie.
So I assume she's just fine!!
I put her down for bed. She goes very nicely for me, as she does every night. I take my self to bed and think about which new dress I'm going to wear to church on Sunday. I fall a sleep!!!
11:30...I hear her screaming crying. Brad and I both run in her room. She's bundled up in her blankets, dripping sweat, and slobbering EVERY WHERE. I do everything in my power to get her to calm down. Rocking, kissing, hugging, laying by her, standing with her, you name it we did it. I gave her gas medicine, I thought maybe she's just a little gassy.
She finally calmed down for about 5 minute and then she snorted (yes snorted like a pig) and then started crying really hard again. That went on for a long time. I put her in bed with us and she just cried and cried.
I thought it could be her mouth, where the hanger scratched her. So I put her up on the bathroom counter top, turned my bright heat light on and tried to look. She did not like that what so ever. She was shaking so hard, I was getting worried.
At 1:00 A.M. we decided we need to take her to the ER. I was afraid it did some internal damage. (worried momma)
We drove all the way to Waxahachie (we live in Ennis, but it's not a good idea to go there). Got there, checked her in, they called us back, she screamed, I cried little too. Then she finally falls asleep..........AWWWW the sweet precious breath breathing on me.
The doctor came in. No more sleeping!
First he got our story. Then he proceeded to tell us. "If I can not find anything here, with all the details you are giving me, I'm going to send you all to Children's Medical in Dallas" I FREAKED! I actually told him "NO" he said only reason would be, because of all the slobbering, something could be logged up in her mouth. Well I knew there was nothing logged up there.
He then said "I'll be back in a little while"
WARNING TMI
I started crying. Brad got so nervous he had to find a bathroom. You know those nervous, gassy, bubbly feeling you get in your stomach that makes you got #2? He had it! (told you TMI, but it's our blog)
Anyways, He finally came back in the room to look at her. He brought two other nurses to hold her down. They wrapped her up like a new born baby, so she couldn't use her arms and legs to fight them. One nurse held her body and the other held her head. He then forced his way in to her mouth to see if there were any damage.
I stood at the end of the bed, while Brad stroked my back so softly and sweetly and I cried. Who likes to hear there child scream in agony and you just have to stand there. Granted...it wasn't that bad, he was just looking in her mouth, but for a 2o month old, it's bad.
Thank GOD he didn't see any signs where we needed to go to Children's. He determined that she locked her jaw when she put the hanger in mouth and didn't know what to do, and I didn't help by pulling it out fast.
He said she should be fine, but probably pretty sore and to keep an eye on her. He said the slobbering is more than likely caused by the pain of the jaw.
He also determined that she was a little gassy and constipated.
But overall he thought she would be fine and sent us home.
We got home about 3:30, I rocked her for a little bit, laid her down in bed. 5:something came around, she woke up screaming again. I went and got her and put her in bed with us, she fell straight to sleep. Slept till 8a.m. (that's early for her). I finally got her down for a nap (and me and daddy a nap) at 11. we all slept till 2:15!!!!! Me and Kyn cuddled on the couch and daddy in the recliner.
As for today....She's just fine!! She's her normal funny self. Not eating well, but she's acting just fine!
I know this was a lot to read, if you are still reading, but I wanted every detail for my future purposes.
