Bailee's prom 2012

My niece had her first prom this past Saturday. I was so excited she asked me to take pictures of her and her friends before they left.
We met at her other aunts house. I got some really good pictures. I didn't get as many as I wanted to because there were so many parents there taking pictures. I believe there were 40+ jr & sr there.

Here are some of the girls. Man their dresses were gorgeous!!! Much different from when I went to prom in 1999 & 2000.

I LOVED Bailee's dress! I don't say this because she's my niece but I think she had the prettiest dress!!

She wore it SO well!

Her hour glass figure in a mermaid dress....just perfect!!

Look at the details in her dress! And such pretty accessories!

Can't forget about the shoes!!

Bailee and her momma. Stunning!

Cute little family!

This is Alyssa, Bailee's best friend since kindergarten. Her dress was SO pretty too!! Love the pink ruffles!

Two beauties!

Off they go... To a night they will never forget!
I cant believe my niece is 17 and about to be a senior in high school. Time is fly by!

And just for fun and to give everyone a good laugh! Here are my jr year before prom pictures! Hold the laughing to a minimum please...

I'm the one in the red dress. I didn't get the blue dress memo that yr.

The famous stair case picture!

Me and Kari one of my best friends...still to this day!

Me, Lindsey, & Kari. Lindsey has been one of my best friends since 3rd grade and we also are still BFFs!

There you go, prom 1999 & prom 2012.

A trip to the park

After I picked Kynlie up today we made a last minute decision to stop at the park. We drive by the park on the way to MDO and on the way home and everyday she asked to stop.

Our public park is very pretty. I've been many times to let Kyn play and I've taken pictures there before but I've never walked the trail like we did today.

This is the back side of the trail. Look how pretty!!

They have a lot of pretty little spots to take pictures. I'm going to bring my camera next time so I can get some good ones.

She didn't get to play on the equipment much because she had to go potty and I will not let her potty there....Ewww!!

My Kids

What do you know, I'm actually making a post from my computer. I finally uploaded some pictures to the computer and edited them.

My kids mean the world to me. I can't get enough of them (well....some times I do need a break LOL) but honestly, I do miss them when I'm not with them.

Here are some pictures of my babies and some random things they are up to.

I wish I had a 24 hour video on Kynlie so people could see how funny she is and the funny things she says. I laugh because she's starting to catch on to how we say things. For example she asked if she could go down to her memaws "right fast". I didn't realize I say that but I do.

Kooper is really starting to gibber jabber a lot. It sounds like he's saying HI to everyone he sees at the restaurant or the store. He can get so loud, but it's so funny. He's such a happy boy and so content. TOTAL opposite of his wild hyper sister. (hopefully he'll stay this way)

Kynlie is currently obsessed with the Chipmunks. We have all three movies but right now her favorite is the 3rd one. She can sing all the songs on the movie as well as dance just like the chipmunks. It's pretty stinkin cute!!

They both LOVE to be outside. As you can tell from all the pictures. Kynlie could bounce her ball all day long outside. Kooper will either sit in his jump a roo, walker, or on a his blanket and take in every single move his sister makes.

Kynlie has been somewhat interested in bugs. I bought her a butterfly net and a magnified glass to look for bugs....BUT once she sees one or they touch her, she'll start screaming and running away.

We have been reading Kynlie's children's Bible to her at night. I always ask her questions the next night to see what she remembered. Well the other night I was asking her who made the moon, sun, animals and of course she knew and answered God did. I asked her about Adam and Eve and if she remembered where they lived. Her answer was they lived in the "apple tree" HA! I got so tickled. She's kinda right... I asked her if she remembered the guys name who built the ark and her answer was "Nova" once again, she's close! BUT my most favorite part of if all is, when I'm not reading to her, she'll "read" to her self and I LOVE listening to her make up her own words to the pictures she sees and what she's memorized from listening to me. I know she's paying attention. :)

We played outside yesterday in the water sprinkler...the kids did, I just took pictures.

That's it for now! I'll be back soon with pictures of my beautiful niece from her prom....

A day to myself...kinda!

Bradley finally had a day off today so I took advantage of it and did some things for myself :)

I was way over due for a pedi, fills, and an eyebrow wax. So when we all got up and had breakfast I snuck out and got pampered! (when I say snuck out, I mean I really have to sneak out. Kyn will cry her sweet little eyes out to go with me)

My nails! I love my nail lady Tina! She never disappoints. I always try to stick with something simple and light for my finger nails.

But my toes, I'll do about any color and this time I did this bright pink with glitter. I love it. Makes my feet look tan! HA!

After I pampered myself I picked up lunch and headed home to eat and feed my chunker (aka kooper)

After lunch me and Kynlie went to visit my mom at work and then go pay a bill. I called to check on Kooper and he was still napping so we ran to factory connection in town. I found a dress and some cute wedges

Not the best picture but it's a strapless camel color dress. It reminds me of burlap. It's very cute...long in the back and short layers in the front.

Once again not the best picture (I had someone hanging on my arm) they are super cute in person. They have some sparkles on the front.

We then headed home because someone woke up from his nap :)

The day and spending didn't stop there.... Brad had me run to the store to get tarter sauce and I made a short detour to the family dollar. I love that store. I was hopping they had tarter sauce there but they didn't so I had to run into HEB too

I picked up this cute pink spring dress from the dollar store and those shoes I'm wearing at the top when I showed my pedi.

I also got this cute outfit there for kynlie. $6! Perfect for MDO & playing outside.

And this one for kooper man!

I finally made it to HEB for the tarter sauce and stumbled across these cute gold sandals when I walked in. I've been looking for gold sandals for kyn that didn't cost a lot

Also, Kynlie has been playing "Walmart" lately and loves to pretend shes checking out. I found a Barbie cash register with all the bells and whistles but I just couldn't bring myself to pay the price for it. Luckily HEB had this one for $10!! She hasn't stop checking things out around the house since I gave it to her! Success!!!

It came with money, credit card, play food, basket, it adds, the scanner beeps (very loud) and the drawer pops out. It's worth the $10!

So now I'm about to go eat some yummy fried fish and hush puppies my hubby just made and finish watching the Ranger game!
