Living Life Country Style

We had a great weekend. I hate to see weekends end.

Friday Brad was off so he picked Kynlie up early from Heathers and brought her up to my work and picked me up. I love showing her off to my co-workers and they love seeing her just as much I'm sure. She had a great time walking up and down the hallways of my office.
Saturday, mom and I took her to have her first birthday pictures made. OMG...they are great!! I'll post those later this week, maybe tomorrow. We had a blast doing that and shopping and going for lunch. When we got back, we though Kynlie would take a nap, but no, she didn't want to. So mom and I started going through her clothes that don't fit anymore and we took them all out of the closet and her dresser and pack them away. I was very said to see most of them go, because they are all so cute and it makes me sad to see her grow up, but it was very nice to get things organized again. Thanks mom, you were the biggest help, I couldn't have done it with out you.
Sunday we went over to Brad's parents house to visit and Kynlie got to experience a lot of first.

Her first time on a horse

Her first time to ride a four wheeler

Her first time on a JD tractor

OK, so it's not a real tractor, but it's a tractor.

She had a blast over there. I on the other hand, I was a nervous wreck about everything. I'm trying my best to loosen up my belt, but this is my baby we're talking about. The only way she was going to be able to ride the four wheeler was if I was driving. Then Brad's dad wanted her on the horse just for a little bit, but next thing you know....he's taken off. I flipped out, but then realized she was OK and she loved it!

All in all we had a great weekend. We can't wait for this weekend. PARTY TIME...5 days till our girl is 1!

It Was A Flippin Party

Last weekend Heather's daughter Grace turned 3 years old. They had a fun birthday party for her at the Go Dance/Gymnastics Studio. I can not wait till Kynlie is old enough to have a party there. It was the coolest place for kids. I grew up doing gymnastics and cheerleading so this was right up my alley. I so wanted to throw a tumbling pass or a toe touch, but I held back. That wouldn't have been the most smartest decision. Kynlie was a little too young to participate in everything, but she had a blast watching all the other kids jump up and down on the trampoline and fall in the foam pit. She loved walking around the spring floor and looking at her self in the wall of mirrors. (mommy didn't like the mirrors too much). The party was great. Here are some pictures.

This is the birthday girl. How cute is this outfit? I made the Tutu and I had the shirt made for her.

Jump Jump Jump

Wishing she could jump. (check out the outfit!! My cutie pie)

Playing on the gym mats

Shake your groove thang, shake your groove thang, baby!

How cute is this picture?

Happy Birthday Ma

Today would have been my Ma's birthday. She was such a special lady to me. She passed away February 14 2001 (ironically, the same day in 2008 my Papa died). I miss her very very much. She was a great wife, mom, grandma, & great-grandma. She is my moms mom. Kynlie's middle name is named after her.... June. I had to keep her a live some how, so what better way then to name my first born after her. I still cry to this day because I miss her so much. There is so much I would do if she were still alive. I'd spend way more time with her and let Kynlie know her. Since I can't do that, I'll tell Kynlie all about what a great person she was. I will tell her how much she would have loved her and how much she would have spoiled her rotten (more than she already is) How talented she was at playing the piano and what a Christian she was. I can remember growing up and always wanting to go over to my grandparents house and spend the night. I loved sliding down their stair case in the living room. I remember getting in the back seat of their car when they would come visit us so in hopes I could leave with them. My Ma would always sing fun songs to me growing up. "You get a line, I'll get pole, we'll go down to the craw fish hole...." Hey Hey good lookin, whatcha got cookin...." I'll make sure I sing these same songs to Kynlie.....no matter how goofy she thinks I am! I wish I had a picture to share on here of her, but I don't have any on my computer. I'll have to work on scanning one in to post. She was a beautiful lady. I never knew her not to be all dolled up (until her last year before she passed) she always wore high dollar clothes, fancy jewelry, and pretty make up. She always smelled like Channel 5. I love that perfume!! Looking at pictures of my mom growing up she always was fixed up really nice in dresses and lipstick. A girls always got to look her best!

Happy Birthday Ma. We all love you and miss you so very much!

These are some flowers I put out one year for her birthday

Walk This Way....

talk this way! (I love Aerosmith and Steven Tyler) Anyways. that's not what my post is about.
Guess who's walking all over the place? Yep, Kynlie! She started walking a few weeks ago, taking small steps here and there. Now she is on the move. It is the funniest and cuties thing to watch her walk. It's funny because she'll get going so fast and trip over her big toe...poor baby has mommas big toe and it's getting in the way HA! Daddy thinks it's a lot more funny than we do.
Here is a video of her walking last night in the living room. In the video, she is kinda fussy...she was ready for her bath and bed. She wanted me to pick her up so bad but I kept walking from her so I could video her.

Side note to everyone: the pill bottles she holding, are perfectly OK. She doesn't hold them all the time and play with them, she just happened to have them in the video. There is no way she can even get them open. Don't worry, we're not a pill popping family either... HA!

A Little of This, A Little of That...

We've had a few busy weekends lately and we have a lot more coming up. This past weekend we went to a couples wedding shower. It was a lot of fun. There were a lot of my friends there, some I haven't seen in a while. Here are some pictures from that night

Me and my girl

This is Heather, Kynlie's babysitter...she is the BEST!

I can't believe Kynlie is about to be 1, only about 2 weeks away. We have a great party planned. Kynlie has been so much fun lately. Her little personality is changing and she's becoming a little toddler. We have so much fun making her laugh. I can't get enough of the sound of her laugh. Some of the things I've been doing lately is singing to her. No I don't sing, but Kynlie loves it. I'll singing "Ba Ba Ba...Ba Ba Barbara Ann..." and dance around and she laughs so hard...it's a deep giggle and if she's standing up she'll bounce up and down and dance with me. I also sing "I can't get enough of your love, no I can't get enough of your loven baby" and I'll kiss her on her neck and she giggles so hard she can't breath. I'm telling you this girl has done it for me. She is the best thing in the world. She's stolen my heart for good!! She loves to be twirled around (I try not to do this too much, I'm sure it's not good for her) she closes her eyes and she'll laugh so hard. I also do the the horsey ride on my leg and she gets so mad when I stop, but I'm not in shape and man, that hurts my legs. She is just a blast at this age. I'm not ready for her to grow up.

Show Us Your Life - Favorite Vacation Spots

This week at Kelly's Korner it's Show Us Your Favorite Vacation Spots.

I love love the beach and the sun. Anything with sand, water and sun with do just fine! I've been to Cancun for my senior trip in 2000 and had a blast. Then we went to Rivera Maya Mexico for our honeymoon in 2007. That is the only two beaches I've been too. Well, except Galveston TX and Corpus Christi TX, but I don't remember Corpus, I was too young. My parents us to take us to Galveston and I do remember that, but I haven't been in a long time.

This is the beach on our Honeymoon

HOT SPRINGS ARKANSAS

One of my all time favorite places to go is Hot Spring Arkansas. There are two reasons (maybe more than two) I love Hot Springs, 1, it's beautiful there and 2, my very best friend Dawn lives there. I love to go visit her and her family there. Dawn and I have been friend since the 6th grade, we cheered together all through school, went to church together (she's the one that got me involved in church), and she was in my wedding. So making trips up to Hot Springs to see her is a blast. Dawn and her husband lived on Lake Hamilton for a while, until the bought a house out in the country. Lake Hamilton is a beautiful lake, with very nice lake houses. I would LOVE to live there one day. Every time we go and visit, we take a boat ride whether it be cold or hot. We love to eat at the restaurants on the lake, and instead of taking the car we take the boat. It's lots fun and I can't wait to go back and visit very soon.

Here are some pictures of some of the different trips Brad and I have made and some pictures of a girls trip we took up there.

Another place we like to go is, New Braunfels TX and float the river. I love to float the river...so relaxing and lot so fun in the sun!

Max Logan

One of my very best friends Lindsey had her baby boy Max Logan Zmolik last Thursday. Lindsey and I have been friend since the 3rd grade, so we've been friends for about 19 years now...WOW, that's a long time to have a friends. (I feel very blessed). She was my matron of honor in my wedding and her oldest daughter was my flower girl.
This Lindsey and I (one of our many many thousands of pictures we've taken together)

This is Lindsey and her husband Jeff's 4th child. I couldn't imagine having 4 kiddo's. She is a wonderful mom and bless her for being able to do it. Max came in to the world a little early...a month early, but he is just perfect and is doing great, and so is mom! I am crazy about him, he is just the cutest little bitty thing I've held. I've been by to see him 3 times already since he's been born. I'm sure she's tired of me and ready for rest, but I just can't get enough. Max and Kynlie should be in the same grade growing up...I sure hope so. Lindsey and I use to play "house" as kids and have pretend kids, but now we no longer have to pretend, we finally have kids the same age (or close enough)
Here are a few pictures I got of him. They are not all that great because some are taken from my phone or were text to me. But it won't be hard for you to see how cute this baby boy is.
